About Us

The recession in the 80's made Jackie and Steve redundant within 6 months of each other. With 2 small children they decided to buy and sell second hand children's clothes. They had seen a need in the market for good quality gently used children's clothing.

They started selling at car boot sales at the weekend and bank holidays. As well as clothing, they also started to sell gently used baby equipment. This move proved very popular. They eventually made a brave move and took on their first shop in Acocks Green. They called it Jolly Tots. The business went from strength to strength.

They soon opened a larger shop nearby in Yardley. Which is where Jolly Tots is still based today. It has expanded lots over the years and now boosts just under 5000 square feet of showroom.
